Time & Location

Nov 18, 2025, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The Foundry, 101 Rogers St, Cambridge, MA 02142, USA

About the event

The presentation will be a fast-paced and liberally illustrated examination of how quantum physicists have arrived at a perspective on the universe that is surprisingly similar to the long Eastern and Western philosophical traditions of monism or nondualism. No background in physics is required, as many of the concepts will be easy to grasp despite their startling contrast to our usual way of viewing reality. Thomas Laage, a long-time member of PBK Boston and our current Treasurer, will share his research and reflections on this fascinating subject. Audience participation, while not necessary, is encouraged.

When: Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, 6 PM up to 8 PM, at The Foundry available from 6:00 pm on, with the presentation planned from about 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. (Ask at the desk for the location when you arrive.)
